Ok i finally got videos posted of this last weeks sessions(Sunday) at Auto Club Speedway. Youtube only allowed me to post 10min videos so there is a couple of sessions split into 2 different videos all labled by time of day and Level 3! I trailed Neil for a little off and on (750 pulls pretty hard on me on the straights). It is on the video titled "Auto Club 11/30 Practice 1:00 Pm Session #1" if you want to check it out Neil.

I will be carrying these cameras on the front and back of my bike from now on so any members who know they will be at one of the track day events i will be at, i would love to film you guys by request and put some nice videos up on this website for you.

Just by reviewing my own videos myself i can tell were i can improve a little, so it might be useful to some of you as well.

Very cool to see it from another bikes perspective. For sure at the next track day i am going to have to get me one of those cams. Did you have to drill any holes in the body work to mount it securely? Thanks for posting!

Just curious because Ive always wanted to get into racing what kind of lap times do you guys put down there at auto club? My first time there my fast lap was 1:41 so im sure I could bring that down a few seconds np with another good day.

Right now I can click low 1.38's consistently and the occasional high 1.37 on my 750, if I have a clear track in front me. There were a lot of guys (and a few girls) running in the 1.45 to 1.50’s during the races in my novice class. I completed most of the laps during the races at a 1.39 pace. This was my first year racing and I pulled off top 10 finishes in 3 out of 4 races at Fontana.

A 1.41 first time out at the track I would say is a VERY good pace. Assuming you can run that during a race when the adrenaline is pumping hard, I would say you’re ready to go racing my friend!

They are mounted with double stick tape which is NEAR IMPOSSIBLE to get off, pretty sturdy. Have one mounted on the rear swingarm and it does not come off.

A 1:41 is a decent fast time the fastest lap time this last week was 1:35. I was only running a 1:39-40 but it was a practice day ! I would definitely say give racing a go. It is a lot different when your out there Competing, but it does take riding on a track to a whole new level.

When your racing its about keeping a consistent time, not just having a fast time.
